T3

Dear All

I am writing on the state of the Privatisation of Telstra and the sale of these new T3 shares. It has become apparent that Australia's main tel-co is going under the hammer, and now they're advertising for th eopportunity iof a lifetime to snatch up shares with flexible repayment options and the chance to receive dividends even before you make your installments. Funny though, they're previous Telstra share values have dropped, and they think the people of Australia would snatch up on the opportunity of a lifetime. Here are some reasons why investing in Telstra shares are akin to sponsoring a group of nerds to find the ancient fountain of youth: 1) Sol Trujillo wants a bigger cut, 2) his amigo (or mate if you want to translate and aussie-fy it) claims that he wouldn't even recommend t3 shares to his own mother, and 3) their past share values are not exactly the kind you would see in BRW revies.

But if you do choose to buy T3 shares, let me take you through a short and perhaps thought provoking: Telstra is Ours!

It was build on the taxes of the Australian People, to serve the Australian people and to better the lives of the Australian public. It enabled broad coverage of all areas of Australia, even to areas where it is economically unfeasible, (profit wise).

The current government is now offering the chance for you to buy shares in a service provider build by your payments through taxes. Its akin to buying something you already paid for!!! To borrow an example from the comedian from the Glasshouse, it's liek paying your girlfriend for sex.....

We're paying the government, who pays for Telstra, who pays Senoir Sol millions of dollars to implement a program in which we get the chance to pay for shares in it....

My God!, imagine that! credit goes to the Liberals for capitalising something that we have paid for. I must say, double credit goes to capitalisaing on something that was oen fo a few perfect example of, dare I say (and if your a hardcore conservative, please be merciful in your comments) socialist?!

Thanks for introducing another dud that will only serve to add to the negativity in the ASX mate....
